3 main components of a problem:
  • Goal:  Something you want to achieve
  • Obstacle:  Something standing in the way of achieving your goal
  • Strategy:  A plan of action for overcoming your obstacle and eventually achieving your goal

Example: A child wanted to make a collage for his mother but had no glue, so he then decided to use tape instead. His goal would be to make a collage for his mother, the obstacle would be that there was no glue, and his strategy would be that he uses the tape instead.
